Day 13: Today, we leave. I'm kind of sorry it is all over. I miss home, but I feel like I've moved to Turkey and that it is my new home. The sounds of the morning prayer, the smells of saffron and lamb, the visual sites of buildings older than anything I've ever seen, the taste of the honey-soaked pastries, and the feel of soft turkish-style rugs on my bare feet make Turkey an experience I'll think of often. Since the trip, I've talked to several of my friends who've visited Turkey. The stories are similar, and their eyes light up with excitement as they tell them. It is a place people always wish to visit again.
