Out Takes: Visiting Turkey was a grand experience, but it also had some funny bits. We saw plenty of wild cats on this trip. The cats are allowed to roam freely, even inside the ancient area, and they are well-fed and well-loved. You will see a cat theme throughout the out-takes. We also saw several wild dogs. The Turkish government rounds up wild dogs every year, gives them shots, treats their maladies, tags them, and let them go free once again. The dogs are very tame and will leave you alone.

This picture was taken at the Early Civilizations museum in Ankara. The statue was an old Roman one.

I've always wanted to take a picture like this.

Greenpeace While we were on the Bosphorus, we saw Greenpeace. They were protesting a pact that was being made between Iran and Turkey at the time. What was funny was that the Greenpeace workers were taking our picture while we were taking their's.
Ryan, the monkey man, saw this safety feature at the monastery built at Cappadocia. His inner wild-self let loose. Trapped in a cage
Turkey in Turkey Turkey on sale in Turkey! Okay, so technically it's a chicken.
Am I doing a handstand on the stairs, or am I holding them up? You will have to consult the artist Escher to find out. Or, visit the caravanserai in Turkey. Standing on my hands
Feet Bazaar We saw this display at a beachwear store in Antalya and couldn't help ourselves. Can you guess which one is me? Good for you, I knew you could do it!
Cats in Sarcophagus Here are a few cats enjoying a peaceful afternoon in the cozy confines of a sarcophagus. They were resting in peace, before we disturbed them.
This sign was posted on our floor at the hotel in Kusadasi. We were proud to be on the "Superior No Smoking Floor," and wondered if the floor above was the "Inferior Smoking Floor." Kusadasi
Brushing Teeth I had a hard time deciding which photo was my favorite of the entire trip. I had a good one of me packing beforehand (and you'll never see it, mwah-hah-hah-haaa), but this one beats them all. I AM a morning person, can't you tell?
