Examples of Website Work
Anacortes Arts Festival
Anacortes Arts Festival was looking to move their existing website over to Wordpress and wanted a fresh look at the same time. We worked with them on moving the existing content over and created a fresh new custom template that does not get in the way of the constantly changing pictures or art.
The Arts Festival website is very large, but their visitors need to be able to find information quickly. No matter what size of device, the menu is color coded and easy to read.
Three new buttons on the home page will direct visitors to the most commonly requested information.
All the staff are now contributing to new blogs that cover all of the activities and news about the Anacortes Arts Festival.

GAVCO Industries, Inc.
Gavco is a local furniture company with a long successful history. We were thrilled to work with them when they wanted to update their website. They had recently redone their print marketing materials, and it was important that the style of the website matched the print.
Mix & Match
Gavco takes a unique approach to custom work. They want potential customers to see the vast range of finish and style options available. PortNW developed a web application that allows the user to experiment on a virtual standard desk, trying different finishes and drawer pulls with instant results.
Traditionally, Gavco’s customers relied on a CAD specialist to create a layout of a custom-sized desk. This put a step between the customer’s desired product and Gavco’s ability to provide the product. With the question “is there a simpler way to do this?”, PortNW took advantage of new technologies and created an easy to use web program that puts more design tools in the hands of Gavco’s customers. Customers can now create a desk that meets their needs and then print it off themselves.
