Medical, Dental & Med Spa Practices

Websites that bring in the right patients

PortNW designs, builds and maintains sites for practices in Seattle, King County and across the Puget Sound region — including two clinics in downtown Seattle, one of them a client for nearly a decade. We handle the website, the search visibility and the listings, so they agree with each other.

Ask About Your Practice

What we handle

A practice site has to do several jobs at once: reassure a nervous patient, answer the questions the front desk answers all day, and be found by people who have not heard of you yet.

A site patients trust

Clear treatment and practitioner pages, readable on a phone, in plain language — built around what patients actually ask before they book.

Patient information handled carefully

We keep patient information out of email and off the web server, and choose form and intake tools that can be configured to your practice’s obligations — with your compliance decisions made by the people accountable for them.

Online booking and inquiries

Scheduling integrations and enquiry flows that match how your front desk actually works, rather than adding another inbox nobody owns.

Listing and map visibility

Categories, services, hours, practitioner listings and reviews — the profile data that decides whether you appear when someone searches nearby. We manage Google listings for clients as a service in its own right, so this is not second-hand work.

Being the answer, including to AI

Structured data, entity accuracy and answer-shaped content, so that AI assistants and search engines describe your practice correctly — and recommend it.

Retail and e-commerce

Skincare, retail products and memberships sold through the same site, including custom WooCommerce development where the standard checkout does not fit.

Practices we work with

  • ✓ Spectrum Dermatology of Seattle — a boutique dermatology clinic in downtown Seattle. A full redesign built on a new business roadmap, since grown into a substantial e-commerce operation with custom WooCommerce development. We manage the practice’s Google listings too.
  • ✓ Pacific Orthodontics — a downtown Seattle orthodontic practice and a client for nearly ten years, currently running an SEO/GEO improvement program with us.
  • ✓ Other healthcare and professional practices in Washington State and beyond, alongside our longer-standing work in e-commerce, education and nonprofit services.

Client names are used with permission. Where a practice has a compliance officer or counsel, they remain the decision-makers on patient data — we build and advise, we do not certify.

Questions we get asked

Do you build HIPAA-compliant websites? +

We do not sell compliance, and any web developer who promises it is overstating what they control. What we do is build with your obligations in mind: keeping patient information out of email and off the web server, choosing tools that can be configured to your requirements, and working alongside your compliance officer or counsel rather than around them. The compliance decision belongs to the practice — our job is to make it easier to meet, and to tell you plainly when something is outside what a website can responsibly do.

We already have a brand or an approved design. Can you work with it? +

Yes. We have built sites to designs produced by other firms, including for a nonprofit serving about 3,000 children a year. If your brand, photography or design system already exists, we implement it faithfully rather than starting again from nothing.

Can patients book appointments online? +

Yes, and we will be straight with you about what each scheduling platform can and cannot do before you commit to one. The integration is usually the easy part; the harder question is what your front desk actually wants to happen when a request arrives.

Do you only work with practices in Seattle? +

No. We work with practices across King County, the Puget Sound region and beyond — our clients include two clinics in downtown Seattle, one of them with us for nearly a decade. We work remotely as a matter of course, so location is rarely the deciding factor.

Can you help us when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation? +

That is a growing part of what we do. When a patient asks ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews or Perplexity who to see, those systems draw on your listings, structured data, reviews and the clarity of your own site. We make sure all four say the same accurate thing — which is also what makes them useful in normal search.

What is your site costing you in missed patients?

We will look at your site, your listings and how you appear to an AI assistant, and tell you what we would change first.
